blog post #1- Welcome!
Hey Everyone! Thank you so much for checking out my page! Wow, it sure took a lot of tinkering around to get this shop set up. Hopefully I don’t have to do that again anytime soon! (FYI- For all of you looking to set up a website or business, definitely check out my domain host, Square Space. They’re pretty awesome!)
Anyways, I am so glad that you have decided to stick around and read this first blog post. This whole business adventure has been the culmination of many, many years spent brainstorming, experimenting, and praying. I have experienced countless failures, trials, losses, and struggles during this process. But, the few successes I have had in between have been more than worth the struggle. I’ve found that most worthwhile things in life are similar in nature.
After much prayer and delegation, I felt that the Lord put it on my heart to take the next step into my business adventure. The name “FaithFoal Designs” was a team effort we came up with- certainly something I could not have come up with on my own. I feel that it encapsulates my goals, experiences, and callings in entrepreneurial ventures in one catchy title!
Oh, wait!
I completely forgot the most important aspect of this whole blogging thing! Ya’ll should probably know a little more about me before continuing.
Without further ado, here goes!
My name is Molly, and I am a native Northern Californian. I have a heart for the Lord, nature, agriculture, farming, food production, family, and my country (among many, many other things). I love creating things with my hands, and just a few short years ago discovered one of my greatest passions- leatherworking. I have now been successfully restoring and reselling horse tack for the past 4 years, and have dabbled in professional leatherwork for the past year. This is a hobby and venture that I see a need for in my community, and I am beyond happy to offer my services to fill this gap. Along with my other products and skills, I hope to deliver a well-rounded and enjoyable portfolio to all of my customers for their enjoyment.
I sincerely hope that this first (short) blog post was an enjoyable read. I hope that this blogging space will evolve into a place where I can offer advice and tips in your own creative journey, and foster a community of fellowship. Thank you for reading!
Blessings,
Molly
